Refund policy

Product Returns & Exchanges for Credit

 

1. Return & Exchange Period:

  • Products may be returned or exchanged for credit within 7 days from the invoice date.
  • If CT Foodware is responsible for an error, the below conditions apply. Please note, non-fault returns are not accepted. If a customer opts to exchange a product when CT Foodware is not at fault, the conditions outlined below must be adhered to.

1.1 Customer Responsibilities:

  • Freight Costs: For exchanges of an identical product (when CT Foodware is not at fault), customers are responsible for covering the freight costs both for returning the product to CT Foodware and for the delivery of the replacement product.
  • Restocking Fee: A restocking/administration fee of $5.00 or 8% (whichever is higher) per carton is applicable when products are exchanged.

1.2 Credit Value: For exchanges, the replacement item will be of the same value as the original purchase.

1.3 Product Condition:

  • Damaged goods, or those failing to meet food safety and hygiene standards, are not eligible for exchange.
  • Products must display a visible Return Authorization (RA) number on the return packaging (not on the original carton).
  • Products eligible for exchange must be unopened and in a resalable condition, as determined by CT Foodware.
  • Items that have been marked or defaced by the customer or their courier are not exchangeable.
  • Only full cartons with no items missing are accepted for exchange. Partial cartons, sleeves of products, or individual items are not eligible.

1.4 Return Authorization:

  • Products approved for exchange must be sent to CT Foodware within 7 business days from the issuance of the RA number. Exchanges outside this timeframe will be declined and sent back to the customer, with freight costs borne by the customer.

2. Product Assurance:

  • CT Foodware asserts that all products are fit for their intended purpose.

2.1 Product Replacement or Refund:

  • Should a product not fulfill its intended purpose, CT Foodware will, based on the customer's preference:
    • Replace the product without additional charges.
    • Provide a full refund.

Exceptions:

  • Items purchased on sale or gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged.

Policy Modifications:

  • CT Foodware reserves the right to modify these terms and policies at its discretion.
